Abandon Ship!

Remind you of the Titanic? Yes. Does this photo make you feel sick it all? Yes. You know what makes me feel more sick? The fact that the captain of this ship abandoned ship before anyone else did. As a captain, you are supposed to be the last to get off. There are people still on that ship, and by now they probably aren't alive anymore. Rescue efforts have been halted because it's too dangerous to keep searching. My thoughts and prayers go out to the thousands who were on that ship, and especially to those who did not make it. This is a terrible way to start out the new year...
