Thankfully for us internet lovers, SOPA/PIPA was put on hold the day after the big internet protest. Thank you to sites like Wikipedia, Reddit, and Google for the blackout. Unfortunately though, even after protesting censorship and government takeover, the FBI shut down MegaUpload today and the owners are under arrest. If SOPA/PIPA are passed, many other popular sites like YouTube can also be shut down. We can't let that happen. This battle is not yet over. This will come up again. SOPA and PIPA are not yet completely taken out. A vote on it may still happen in the future. But for now, we are victorious!
